"The Persian Cat" - poem
"The Persian Cat"
The world is like a Persian Cat
Mild today, harsh tomorrow
I realized I could not bet
If you lend me when I can't borrow
All cats used to play the games
They're so smart, intelligent
Light our fire, keep the flames
Wisdom of life I have meant
Always choose: cats or dogs
The first meow, the second bark
Like a lake full of frogs
Today will come a man-eating shark
The Persian Cat is like The World
Round, so big, eating Australia
Always seen by Lords of the board
It will grow old like "Italia"
