Żadne konstrukcje Andreasa Hofanna nie są dziełem przypadku, wszystkie to bardzo logiczne i głęboko przemyślane projekty, poparte 25 letnim doświadczeniem w tworzeniu urządzeń lampowych.

 

V-80 to najwyższy model spośród czterech wzmacniaczy zintegrowanych Octave. Najniższym modelem jest V 40 SE na lampach EL 34 (opcjonalnie KT88 lub 6550), kolejnym wybitny V-70 SE o nieprawdopodobnej rozdzielczości, wykorzystujący lampy 6550C lub KT88, a zaraz za nim V-110 o pięknej barwie i niezłym zapasie mocy pochodzącym z lamp KT120.
