The Titan will be made in a limited edition of 50 pieces

and will retail at £19,999. We are only going to have

two or three dealers in the UK. They will be able to

offer low deposit, interest-free credit (subject to

approval). The Titan is an expensive amplifier because it

represents the best we know how to make. Like its

predecessor, the kW, we expect it to have a very long

life and to retain its sound integrity for decades.

Next month, we will be launching Antony’s favourite

type of amplifier, a pure Class A ‘wonder’ amp. To many

people, Musical Fidelity is synonymous with Class A. In

the last three decades, we have made more Class A

amplifiers than any other manufacturer - because we

love how they sound. I would not be surprised if we

have made more Class A amplifiers than all other

manufacturers put together.

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that, from

March, we will be producing the AMS50, a pure Class

A, 50 watt per channel wonder amp - Antony Michaelson Signature.

Antony has never before

‘signed’ any Musical Fidelity product in this way, but

this one is exceptional.

Antony loves pure Class A because it has an effortless

flow and organic quality that seems to come from the

golden age of audio. He is old enough to remember

those days. He has told us about his memories of the

visceral, sensual sonic thrill of a pure Class A amplifier.

The AMS50 will retail in the UK for about £8,900 – not

outrageous for the pure Class A dream amp of a lifetime.

Further products in the AMS range will be released during

the year.
