"Incredible Trip of my Life" - poem
"Incredible Trip of my Life"
Rarely listen to "22 Acacia Avenue"*
Some great trip was 22 years ago
The grass was green and the sky was blue
The best and the last one - I have never known
It was with my good friend - "Gonzo" is his nick
We planned this travel not for a fame
We were strong, quite smart, fast and quick
We wanted to do this - life was not a Game
It was a challange but we didn't know
The weather was rainy, cold and wet
We thought we were joint the Show
Mentioning the people we then really met
Seven days of race we had
Five days of rainy weather
We dreamed of going to a bed
Not together - Don't laugh better!
Have crossed two difficult country's borders
Czech Republic was so tough
We haven't done it for the others
Food was needed - always not enough
German border was so easy
Everything described perfectly
That days I was not so busy
We moved to Munich-Flughafen directly
Gonzo's uncle was waiting persistently for us
Because he was so kindly and clever man
He always said "Don't eat and drink so fast!"
I'm writing truly - the best I can
We were there together one month long
Went shopping, book reading and house renovation
Were speaking some German - some hurt of my tongue
Even we enjoyed some poem declamation
My friend was a math's student and poet both
I've been studied engineering - enjoyed writing
We were looking for textile - special cloth
To uncle's plans for curtains sewing - life's always fighting
The July passed quickly - it was a cute time(s)
Had to go home and back to normal days
We were squezed like a hundred green limes
For sure You wouldn't want to see my face
