"The Story of the Giaour" - poem
"The Story of the Giaour"
Inspired by Lord George Gordon Byron's "The Giaour" poem published in 1813
Thin line between love and hate
The contrast of two different perceptions
Christians, Muslims think a lot of their Fate
Love, death, afterlife reflections
Georgian Leila loved Giaour so much
Layla was Clapton's objects of sighs
With husband Hassan they've been in touch
She was avoiding him by the cover of night
When he suspected Leila of cheating
She was impressing him with her loveliness
The secret of real love was leaking (out)
Idylla life changed in to The Darkness
Hassan decided to kill his own wife
She has drowned in the sea by him
Giaour's hope was to meet her afterlife
He almost lost his mind calling "Where have ya been?!?"
He couldn't stand it anymore
Decided taking revenge on him
Doesn't matter if "Macalla" or "Lore"
Killed him and digged a cross made of beam
After that he entered a monastery
Due to remorse he truly had
Decided not to go on cemetery
He knew the rule "Be quick or be dead"
